What electrosleep therapy is
- Electrosleep therapy is a neurotropic physiotherapy method based on the effect of low-frequency, low-intensity pulsed current on the central nervous system.
- The method received its name because many patients experience deep relaxation, drowsiness or sleep during the procedure.
- The therapy is aimed at functional regulation of cortical and subcortical structures involved in nervous, autonomic and endocrine regulation.

How the procedure is performed

Contraindications and precautions

- retinal detachment, closed-angle glaucoma, severe myopia;
- advanced cataract;
